She shares her memories among them the love she felt for her teacher, and the connection they still have, 40+ years later. Through My Eyes, her own story, is wonderful, and I am happy to share it. She became a guardian to her brother's children who attended the same school many years later and became a strong advocate for parent participation in schools. She is a truly remarkable person.
